Billie Eilish has debuted a new look!

The 19-year-old “Happier Than Ever” singer is back to black hair after spending most of 2021 as a blonde.

Billie took to her Instagram account on Thursday night (December 2) to share a new selfie with the simple caption, “Miss me?” She also posted a close up photo of her eyes with her bangs in view. She wrote on top of that photo, “guess what.”

In a new interview, Billie talked about being recognized while going out in public, which she says is easier now.

“Per week, if I am going to stuff, it’s like anywhere I go. But if I’m being cautious and like not trying to be in everybody’s faces, that’s like I can manage my way around people without them noticing, which is cool,” she told Vanity Fair.

“And my hair is blonde now. So it’s not like the only person you’ve ever seen with green hair walking by… It’s gotten a lot easier,” she continued. “But if I go out, I mean, it’s always gonna happen. It’s just that I’m, first of all, fine with it. And I’m very happy about it .And also, I just know how to do it now.”

Billie confirms to us in her Instagram story that she has cut her hair.

American singer and songwriter Billie Eilish just unfollowed everyone on Instagram after she posted in one of her Instagram stories that she will support all those that have been abused.

“If I am following your abuser, DM me and I will unfollow them. I will support you,” she wrote on her IG story.

Not long after, she deleted the story and instead of just unfollowing several chosen people, went on to delete everyone she ever followed on the social media platform—including her own brother, Finneas, who she collaborates with for her music.

Before this incident, the singer has been very vocal about the #blacklivesmatter movement, even posting a long tirade on the matter a few weeks back.

Eilish is obviously making a statement with this new move, but she has yet to officially comment on it.

Billie Eilish has been keeping fairly quiet on social media since the COVID-19 crisis started and stay-at-home orders were put into effect. That being said, the Bad Guy singer has been giving her fans glimpses here and there of what she’s been up to. For instance, she recently revealed that she’s working on an Apple Music show with her dad. And other than that, she’s been staying busy at home with two foster puppies — one of which made an adorable appearance in a new selfie on the singer’s Instagram Story.

While Eilish hasn’t been sharing many selfies lately, this one was simply too precious not to post. In it, she appears to be relaxing in bed with her hair tied up in a bun, and one of the puppies is nuzzled against her neck, sleeping soundly. Cute doesn’t even begin to cover it. What’s more: Being beauty buffs, we couldn’t help but notice that the wunderkind’s famous neon roots are still intact, which is pretty impressive considering it’s been quite some time since she’s been able to see a professional colorist.

It’s definitely possible that Eilish has been tending to her roots on her own with an at-home dye, such as Manic Panic’s Classic High Voltage Hair Color in the shade Electric Lizard, which is very similar to the vibrant, slime-green hue that her roots have been since last year.

Of course, it’s impossible to know for sure how the singer is keeping up with her hair color while self-isolating at home, but one thing is for sure: She’s making it work.
