In a new CBS Sunday Morning interview, six-time Grammy nominee Billie Eilish talked about her body image and how it has affected her sense of style.

“Me and my body’s relationship has been the most toxic relationship you could even imagine,” Eilish said to Gayle King. “The way that I’ve dressed has made that relationship so much better.”

The singer went on to explain why she prefers wearing looser-fitting clothes.

“It’s less about, ‘My body is ugly, I don’t want you to see it,’” Eilish said. “It’s more like, ‘I’m not comfortable wearing this. I’m comfortable wearing this.’ And I don’t mean, like, physically, literally, feels soft. I mean, like, your mental comfort.”

Eilish also talked to CBS about the perception that her music is “dark” or “sad,” adding that those descriptors aren’t the way her loved ones see her.

“Nobody that knows me thinks I’m a dark person. My God. I’m, like, always laughing at everything,” Eilish told King, who asked if the singer considers herself a “dark person.”

The “Bad Guy” singer has been open about depression in the past, talking about her experience with self-harm during a panel at the Grammy Museum in September. Eilish is in a better place now, though, saying at the time that “the last two months of my life, right now, have been the happiest places I’ve ever been in,” Variety reported.

In CBS’s new report, Eilish’s mom, Maggie, also talked about her 17-year-old daughter’s clinical depression.

“The depression was the hardest part of all this. We checked in with her all the time about, ‘Do you still want to do this? Do you want to do this?'” her mom said to CBS. “She loved doing the shows. That’s what kept her going.”

Billie Eilish has told how she was choked and people grabbed her chest during a scary encounter with fans in the US.

The 17-year-old music sensation told Variety magazine that she felt as if she was being “attacked” as she tried to make her way through the crowd in Austin, Texas, where she had performed at the Austin City Limits festival.

Eilish said: “It sounds weird to say, because if you (go into a crowd) you’re gonna get that reaction, and that’s totally fine and I expect it.

“But today, jeez, somebody choked me, and they pulled my arms so hard that security was literally tugging me away.

“People were pulling my hair; somebody stole my ring; they were grabbing my chest and parts of me that, like, I don’t need people grabbing!”

The singer said although she understands that the fans were just excited to see her, it is still something that she has to live with.

Eilish has previously been open about the downside to her success, telling Rolling Stone magazine earlier this year that there was a time when she was so anxious before heading out on tour that she threw up.

She said: “I just couldn’t take the fact that I had to leave again. It felt like an endless limbo. Like there was no end in sight.”

She added: “Thinking about that literally made me throw up. I’m not a throw-upper, but I threw up twice, from the anxiety.”

Eilish released her debut studio album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, this year and it went to number one in several countries including the US and the UK.

Her singles include Bad Guy, Bury A Friend and Everything I Wanted.

This post is about Billie Eilish paying tribute to the legend, the icon, and the pop diva that is Britney Spears.

On Friday, the “xanny” singer performed at iHeartRadio’s annual Jingle Ball, but it was her outfit that had everyone’s attention. As you can see, Billie wore a t-shirt and shorts with Britney’s face all over it.

The sleeves of her t-shirt also featured images of the “Circus” singer and spelled out her name, so it’s safe to say Billie might just be a stan.

Her When We All Fall Asleep track gets a self-directed visual
Billie Eilish has shared a music video for her When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? track “xanny.” Check out the self-directed visual below.

When We All Fall Asleep arrived earlier this year, marking Eilish’s debut studio album. So far she’s shared music videos for her hit singlebad guy” and “all the good girls go to hell.”

Since the release of When We All Fall Asleep, Eilish has performed at Coachella and made her debut as musical guest on Saturday Night Live. She’s also shared a remix of “bad guy” featuring Justin Bieber. Eilish heads out on a world tour in March 2020.

(CNN) Don’t shame people who don’t know Van Halen.

That’s the message straight from Eddie Van Halen’s son.
Wolfgang Van Halen, who also plays bass in his dad’s band, is taking up for current music phenom Billie Eilish.
Eilish, 17, caused a stir recently during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
Kimmel asked her to name some members of the famed band.
“Who?,” she said. “No, who is that?”
“I’m gonna start crying,” Kimmel joked.
The internet also had feelings.
“Billie Eilish didn’t know who Van Halen was, I’m sobbing,” one person jokingly tweeted.
The younger Van Halen tweeted about it Monday and he’s not bothered.
“If you haven’t heard of @billieeilish, go check her out. She’s cool,” he tweeted. “If you haven’t heard of @VanHalen, go check them out. They’re cool too.”
Van Halen, 28, added “Music is supposed to bring us together, not divide us. Listen to what you want and don’t shame others for not knowing what you like.”
For the record, Eilish also didn’t know who Huey Lewis and Run DMC are, what a Cabbage Patch doll is or what you should never do to a Mogwai after midnight (unless you want it to turn into a gremlin).

Billie Eilish might be getting a whopping $25 million for a documentary with Apple TV+.

The currently untitled project has reportedly already been shot, following the 17-year-old “Bad Guy” singer in her private moments with family and friends after the March release of her debut studio album, “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?”

However, a rep for Eilish tells The Post the deal isn’t finalized yet.

The green-haired singing sensation recently made headlines for her lack of knowledge about Van Halen. But many argued that she doesn’t need to know about the rock band — in her young career, she already has four platinum singles in the US and a slew of Grammy nominations.

This won’t be the star’s first collaboration with Apple — she’s already been crowned Apple Music’s Artist of the Year.

Although Apple Music has released documentaries on other pop stars such as Taylor Swift (“The 1989 World Tour Live”) and Ed Sheeran (“Songwriter”), this will be on their new TV platform rather than Apple Music, joining the ranks of shows such as M. Night Shyamalan’s “Servant” and the Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon headliner “The Morning Show.”

Apple TV+’s documentaries are still in their nascent stage, with only one available on the service so far (“The Elephant Queen,” a nature doc about an elephant herd), but several documentaries produced by Oprah Winfrey are on the slate.

The Billie Eilish documentary is expected on Apple TV+ in 2020.

Billie Eilish isn’t here for age or gender restrictions on clothing.

Speaking to DJ Zane Lowe before her and Finneas’s performance at the inaugural Apple Music Awards on December 4, the “Bad Guy” singer opened up about her frustrations with traditionally gendered fashion, admitting she used to wear “boys’” clothes growing up to find pieces that suited her liking.

“I grew up always getting boys’ shoes and boys’ clothes,” Billie told the audience at Apple Park’s Steve Jobs Theater. “I [asked,] ‘Do you have these in a women’s size?’ and the answer would always be no.”

This, Billie revealed, was one of the driving forces for launching her very own kids’ clothing line, which she unveiled on Instagram back in November. “It’s the same thing [for kids] when you see a shirt for a grown-up,” she continued. “I talked to a lot of people I know that have kids and they are always talking about how there are no cool kids’ clothes.”

“I don’t want anything to be limited,” the singer pointed out about her apparel offering. “I didn’t want anyone to feel like they couldn’t get the clothes that they wanted.” And clearly people feel the same way. Billie’s kids’ clothing line was a hit, with the neon green “Billie” hoodie selling out mere hours after its launch (it’s currently being restocked and has a six-week preorder waiting time).

This isn’t the first time Billie has spoken about the limitations of gendered clothing. During her episode of Complex’s Sneaker Shopping earlier this year, the singer admitted she favors “big” and bulky shoes, meaning she’s often forced to gravitate toward men’s shoes due to the limited women’s sizing. “I just like the idea of being able to go into a store and being able to say, ‘Do you have this in my size?’ and it’s a yes. I don’t want to hear no,” Billie admitted back then. Same, Billie, same.

Popstar Billie Eilish recently revealed she didn’t know of the band Van Halen, and naturally, people have reacted to that fact. While making an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last month, Kimmel compared himself to the 17-year-old singer, readily admitting he wasn’t nearly as successful at that age. He did comfort himself by explaining he was 17 in 1984 — or as he called it, “perhaps the greatest year in American history.”

The “Bad Guy” singer prodded back about the host’s current age, to which Kimmel replied, “Do you know who Madonna is?”

While Eilish said she knew who The Material Girl was, she did that there was a lot from that era that she was unaware of, including Cabbage Patch Kids and Run DMC. However, it was the Van Halen comment that really got people talking. First, the rock fans who seemed disheartened by the revelation.

“My take: you should definitely know who Van Halen is even if you’re 17,” one fan wrote.

A second wrote, “I know u guys think that this is ok and I get it but…cmon girl it’s VAN HALEN.”

A third wrote, “Billie Eilish doesn’t know who Van Halen is. Get off my lawn!”

However, not everyone was so quick to pile on Eilish, who will turn 18 later this month, for not knowing a band that was formed 30 years prior. And, to be fair, have only put out one album in her lifetime, 2012’s A Different Kind of Truth.

“Who cares if a teenager doesn’t know the music you knew when you were a teen?” one fan wrote. “Introduce them! Y’all didn’t come onto this earth knowing all the stuff you know now either. Doesn’t matter when they meet the good stuff. Shut up and play it for them.”

A second wrote, “I say this as a superfan: Van Halen has given Billie Eilish no reason to know who they are. They’ve done very little during her lifetime. Don’t complain about other people’s musical experience being different. Instead, share — give people a reason to love what you love.”

Another wrote, “Now I feel bad being a 24 yr old male and not knowing who Van Halen is.”

Interestingly, one of Eilish’s most visible defenders (aside from ’90s rockers Smashmouth), came from Wolfgang Van Halen, the band’s current bassist and son of founding member/guitarist/band namesake Eddie Van Halen.

After her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Eilish got some flack online after a video surfaced that seemed to show her ignoring some fans after the taping. In the wake of the fallout, Eilish posted her reaction where she attempted to clarify the situation while ardently disputing the claim that she was ignoring her fans.
